Today our thoughts
turn to Psalm 139.15:
My frame was not hidden from You, when
I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Not only does God see us as we are. God’s been there all the
time, watching as the intricate threads that comprise our beings weave themselves
into all that we are. The spirit that God
breathes into us takes on a life of its own and God witnesses every change we
undergo in the process of becoming our true selves. Thus, our creation is a state of constant making, shaping and
reshaping, surrendering our fears and doubts to the loving touch of our Maker’s
all-knowing hand. Here there are no secrets, nothing to hide. Here all is safe
and honest and pure, because our faithful Creator is ever with us, watching as we grow into what God desires us to be.

I wish I still believed this. Now I'm not sure if I ever did.

Drew, welcome to Straight-Friendly. Your comment concerns me, as it suggests you've conceded hope in God's love and care. I trust you'll find it soon. Often it comes with experience--at least that's how it worked for me.
You are a work in progress, my friend, a beloved one, as are we all. Worry less about what you believe and put your trust in what you may be struggling to accept. Remember: faith is made of what we hope for, evidenced by what we can't see.
I hold you in my thoughts and prayers.
Many blessings,
Tim
