We get so wound up in "proving" things--none more so than our own righteousness--that we forget Whom we serve. In sacrificing the good of God's kingdom to push our personal brands of "goodness" all we prove is how little we know!

Thanks for your thoughts here. And sorry for the delayed response--I'm away working and my life is not my own! ;-)

Many blessings,
TimTmihttp://www.straight-friendly.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2722447614945782871.post-38032989138214063892012-09-30T11:33:51.641-05:002012-09-30T11:33:51.641-05:00We all so naturally rebel at anything that suggest...We all so naturally rebel at anything that suggests that there is a different way of seeing things, of doing things. We are called to look at results and if the results are good, then we such champion the doer, even when they think differently than us on many things. It is why it is so sick that pro-lifers and pro-choicers should find common cause in doing those things that work toward making the choice of abortion unnecessary and never reached. I find it so sad that this understanding seldom happens which is clearly what I think the passages today denote. Find the areas of cooperation, and move forward!

Blessings to you Tim
SherrySherry Peytonhttp://witshadows.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
